Here are a few photos of my Mother Joyce Smith. She passed away Feb 20th 2004. She taught school 34 years, 32 of those years were spent in Eustace where she taught me in the 7th and 8th grade. She was still teaching up until 2 days of her death. She was a wonderful Mother and a remarkable person.
In October 2004, Eustace ISD dedicated the Middle School Science lab to Mom, this plaque is mounted in the room.
